Purple Rescue!

Hey dearies! Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! It's Friday...no doubt your are way more excited than I am! Today's post is very TGIF like! Although different from the almost usual Friday "turnt up" edition.

Ah! Check out how excited I look, it's just the Friday vibe....so, this outfit is a bit different from my usual popping and loud colors! I decided to give my self a chill pill with colors before I start boring you all with it {I sure wont want that at all}. my love for this jumpsuit is nothing but its frill sleeves and also the boot cut legs. The sleeves just gives a bit of edge to it and quite unusual in a cute way.

I am not the greatest fan of black but this jumpsuit is a winner for me. It's a very versatile piece! I mean you can dress it either up or down and the color makes life easier when it comes to choice of footwear because you can just slip on any color you think of! I chose this piece for a Friday look! Although as have paired it might be a bit too much for a work look. But certainly without the belt and minimal accessories should make it pass. In as much as I love this jumpsuit I would be honest and say I would have preferred if it had a bit of a looser fit around the hips as I find it a bit clingy which am not a great fan. Making it look like am trying to flaunt my tiny hips that lie {lol}.

You know am a sucker for colors. Of course I had to make that black pop! I opted for a purple block court heels. I just really wanted to give this outfit life! Black is just super boring in my books I must say! I particularly like the look of court heels or wedge with any type of boot court outfit. But in the case of this outfit, the court heels seemed more appropriate.

I kept the color theme as black and gold. I accessorized mainly with the pop of gold just to brighten the black up as I needed to give it life. I used a gold/black mirrored waist belt to accentuate my waist and make the outfit look more dressy. I worked with the gold theme and wore a gold spiky necklace ensuring it laid flat on the upper part of the suit. slipped on my gold wrist watch, a black/gold bracelet and a gold ring. I just ensured not to contradict the theme by having another color going.

I was such in a lady like mood...lol. I had my nails nicely polished and I tried to color block them with cobalt and mint nail polish. So my makeup wasn't too loud but I chose a popping lip color to compliment my shoes. My Mac Rebel lipstick came to my aid aswel as Sleek's blush in the flushed shade.

See how happy I look! See what Friday does to us! By the way, sorry I dint take the pictures outside. It's such a gloomy and rainy day and I still wanted to share this look. Do you think I brought life to this outfit as I aimed to? Did the color purple rescue the boring black? Give me your feedback guys....xxx

Thanks for visiting. Pls visit back! Tomorrows post would be a lovable one.
